NeuroMotor Development Masterclass:
Focus on Caring for Birth Parent and Neonate
with Ilka Fanni Szilagyi, CMT, SpBCPE, Doula, Student Midwife & Dr. Martha Eddy
Friday February 23 @12-2:30pm EST
Focus on Caring for Birth Parent and Neonate – learn the Level Pelvis Method for realigning the pelvis in pregnant and postpartum people (This strategy can relieve other forms of back pain and can be used for non-pregnant bodies as well), holding the baby, soothing with rocking and sucking, and other ways to address digestive and environmental overstimulation. We will demonstrate the birth spiral and variations and tips. Finally, with enough time we will describe additional strategies for soothing the baby from baby ball to mouthing or reflex integration. This is a taste of a longer workshop coming up this spring.
