Craniosacral Harmonics, based on principles developed in cranial osteopathy and extended and popularized by John Upledger, DO, utilizes light palpation to detect restrictions of movement flow of the body’s connective tissue arrays, including those of the skull and intracranial areas. Light, sustained transverse traction of these tissues is used to release adverse patterns of movement flow and restore optimal connective tissue tension response, intracranial pressure adaptation, and neurofeedback from connective tissue mechanoreceptors.
Ronald Lavine, DC, has more than forty years experience in clinical practice, integrating and elaborating a diversity of methods in manual therapy and therapeutic movement.
